Depending on the type of calibration services requested, the machine will be calibrated and verified for accuracy.

The following are a list of calibration services:

• Standard Laser Calibration
• Extended Laser Calibration
• High Accuracy Laser Calibration
• Squareness Verification using Porbe with Machine Checking Gauge
• Squareness Verification using dial indicator and Probe with Master square
• High Accuracy Software Squareness
• Machine Repeatability Verification using Master Sphere
• Machine Accuracy and Repeatability Verification using Machine Checking Gauge
• Machine Accuracy and Repeatability Verification using Ball-Bar
• Machine Accuracy and Repeatability Verification using Laser Diagonals

Machine Installation :

The installation of a Coordinate Measuring Machine will be scheduled following the confirmation of power and compressed air availability in the CMM room.

Following the machine installation, the CMM will be mechanically squared and the repeatability will be demonstrated using a Master Sphere and TP6 Probe.

Depending on the type of calibration services requested, the machine will be calibrated and verified for accuracy.

A typical installation process can take from 4-7 days depending on the size of the machine and will involve the following general process.

• Power and Air Hook-up.
• Host computer Installation.
• Fine Tuning of the Machine Mechanical Square.
• Verification of Repeatability

• Laser calibration with Linear and Angular optics.
• Generation of Machine compensation Tables.
• Performing Machine checking Gauge.
• Extraction of Squareness and modification of configuration file.

• Verification of Squareness by Machine hecking Gauge.
• Verification of Linear Acuracy using Laser.
